None of you business or maybe the paper turned back shredded in an envelope!
Or just don't turn it in at all because it was optional?

The survey was _never_ given to parents, nor intended for parents to see.

The last part is the REAL PROBLEM. It wasn't intended that the parents know about it. BAD. :mad5
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

Parents shouldn't be allowed to interfere with school functions. They are only a breeding pair in this modern culture where the collective is in charge of assimilation.

Either that, or turn it in (without a name, it's optional after all) after having been used as a target for rimfire practice?
This forum really, really needs a "like" button....IMHO.

Well, I agree with that. The problem is that the journalism teacher apparently didn't talk to the students about how dangerous such a line of questioning could be (in terms of security). It's not clear, however, if a teacher ever saw it.

One thing I would point out is that chances are the teacher was probably new. A lot of first year teachers were hired this year. And no matter what I'm sure the teacher received an earful.
