How is it that nobody has been killed at one of their events yet?

God watches over fools, drunkards and small children.
Tsk tsk. We're not supposed to talk about God. It violates some people's constitutional right to not be offended.

While I understand the whole "it is a tool, not a piece of fine china" thing, taking a loaded gun, tossing it on the ground, then stomping on it is a [unintelligent donkey] thing to do.

If that is how a Yeager class kicks off, I cannot imagine what happens next.

I have heard of other instructors who give their student a blue gun or similar dummy pistol and actually train on what to do if a police officer says "Drop the gun". The intent is to learn to actually DROP the gun.

Stomping on it??? Geez.

Stomping on pistols?

Brilliant, just brilliant...

If this outfit offered to pay me to attend, I'd decline.

That too, but I weigh 240. They're gonna feel that first impact.

I don't know about y'all but first off I would never throw my gun on the ground intentionally. Secondly I would never stomp on it. Thirdly I'd never let anybody stomp on my gun! Yes it is a tool but I was always taught to take care of my tools that what they last a long time. I don't see where taking your 500$ + gun and treating it that way makes you cool. I've never liked this guys videos on YouTube or his philosophies. That was very irresponsible and people should be ware before attending one of his classes.

Doing the throwing and stomping couldn't possibly damage the expensive sights I have mounted could it?

(Not to mention the avoidable danger)

Throwing your firearm on the ground and stomping it is total idiocy.
Please know and follow the rules of firearms safety.

I have had my P-14 since 1995, it's showing years of use and I know a 1911 is a tough design, but I would NEVER throw it on the ground, no way would I have gone along with that part of the training
