Just a ramble here, but is anyone else enormously embarrassed with Trump as our president? I don't care what the anti's think, and I'm only speaking for myself here, but I cringe anytime that buffoon tweets anything. There's a certain decorum that goes along with the leader of the free world, but in my mind, we're moving closer and closer to a real life version of Idiocracy (if you haven't seen that movie, I recommend seeing it. It wasn't supposed to be a documentary, but it's inching that way).
We need a president with gusto...and I love the swagger (within reason), but he's pretty much killed the Republican party and my gut tells me America is going to be paying the price for this for decades to come.

Well Dale and pb, one indication that things are going to get ugly is the failure of the fake story regarding Trump's alledged use of profanity. Obviously you would have liked it to have been true.
Another fake story about Trump and a porn star had to be trotted out for the weekend news cycle for the low information sufferers of Trump Derangement Syndrome and that story was also immediately proven to be a fabrication.
Yeah, the proverbial is going to hit the oscillating blades anytime now...and there's a ton of it. Somebody is getting increasingly scared that sunlight will be the best disinfectant. The 1.2 million pages just released to Congress is only the beginning. Wait for Uranium One, and all the rest to see the light of day.

I voted for Trump albeit with great misgivings. I am however still very happy with that vote. Hilary still isn't president and we have gotten some very good Federal judges.
But there are times, Trump talks and tweets too much. He is continually stepping on his own good news. Drives me crazy.
Trump tells it like it is. No bull like Obama. No phony politically correct statements. He is a blunt New Yorker that just blurts out the truth perhaps without thinking twice. I personally like it. He said he was going to drain the swamp. The swamp is all of those politically correct politicians. Dick Durbin tops the list.
Every country mentioned would have received the same non-PC terminology that apparently Trump used (perhaps he did not use those words). Those countries are all ****hole countries. Would business man Trump build a hotel and golf course in Haiti? I think not. It is not racist to state that a country is below 3rd world and that it is not a benefit to take in people from that country. Either you believe in a merit based immigration system or you don't.
Dreamers get all kinds of economic benefits that US citizens don't. Why should a dreamer get in-state tuition when a non-state resident US citizen has to pay out of state tuition? I feel sorry for these dreamers but they are here illegally and their parents committed the crime. What about all of the people on a waiting list for years trying to come here legally? Why should a crook be ahead of them? Is there something innate about dreamers that make them better than other Hispanic students. Last I looked, Oriental, White, Hispanic and Black was the order for high school graduation. Are Hispanic dreamers better than Hispanic citizens? We keep hearing how great they are. But are they? Except to become future Democratic voters what benefit do they bring to our country? Would not a European with a PhD in nuclear physics be a better immigrant than a non-educated dreamer? There are lots of well trained people that I would like to see admitted to our country before some of the people from those ****hole countries. Merit based admission. We don't need more welfare people.

Just a word of advice, but it's best not to assume anything about me. I do not blindly support someone because of party, who I voted for, or anything. Unlike the left, I do not want to railroad him. But I'll call a spade a spade whenever I see one.

Just a fact. I voted for Ross Perot in 92. I too ended up voting for a Clinton. I guess I wasn't too savvy in 1992. At least my man had some brains, not like Gary Johnson. But I am sure you felt better, just as I did.

Political correctness is a form of bullying. Trump's comments and tweets are designed to break the left's paradigm. Until Trump came on the scene the left could say anything they wanted without fear of censorship, but the right was shouted down and shamed and at every turn. Trump is changing that. Embrace it.
