Accounts I have read say the Chilean Flag is modeled on the US Flag, they’re not so far off.
By the way, if you want to see the old German army in action on the parade ground, go to YouTube and look up videos of the Chilean army on Parade.
Many moons ago the Chilean army was trained by the Prussians, and they have kept their German influences through, but apparently stopping with, World War II. Coal scuttle and pickelhaube helmets, Feldgrau uniforms, Goose-stepping, German and especially Prussian marches.
Here we go, Kaiser style:

Hot Tamales!!! oh yummy.
I buy some now and then from a place near downtown named Alamo Tamales. A bit pricey but good.

Wonder how many people will buy it and never notice the flag isn’t a Texas flag?
