Canales Elementary, where Garza was principal for four years, was targeted as needing improvement, and Garza was reassigned to Palm Grove.

“When the police officer had his body cam off, they were yelling and telling me, ‘We’re gonna go to the full extent. We’re gonna put you in a lockbox,’” Timothy said. “Then, when the body cam was finally on, they were so nice.”

Sounds like Garza is a recognized problem and unfortunately she played the LEOs as well.

After reading this I hope there is some attorney in South Texas that will take this pro bono and nail the principal and anyone else involved in this to the wall. Also, I am getting sick and tired of people STILL using covid precautions as an excuse to deny basic needs to anyone, particularly children. Too many administrators in schools think that they are gods in their own little universe and woe be to anyone who does not conform and cow tow to them. Usually, principals with a god complex take it out on the classroom teachers, but to do this to a child is unthinkable.
