Manhunters on A & E

Anyone elsewatch this? Awesome show about the U S Marshals Service tracking down fugitives.

Anyway, on last night's show, there was a close up of one of the team's AR-15s with a folding stock as they were gearing up. I was :drool: and my wife just said, "Oh wow"!

I turned to my wife and remarked, "Black....is beautiful". She smiled in agreement. If she doesn't watch out, she'll turn into a gun enthusiast.

A folding stock AR?

Was it pistol length or what? Never seen that one before.

If it is a piston-driven AR you can have a folding stock because it doesn't need a buffer tube. Para's "Delayed Impingement Gas System" also does away with the buffer tube.

Here is a picture of one example: http://www.para-usa.com/new/images/splash_TTR_2.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hmm, I thought it was more like an MP5 or something like that, rather than AR-15. :confused5

Could have been. It was dark, low light footage. But the receiver looked like an AR to me.
