I frankly don't care what his personal beliefs are. He has bumbled interactions with foreign dignitaries, broken most of his campaign promises, and let this country further down the suicidal path of out of control spending. No matter his beliefs, he has failed the American people as president.

At least Perry would not put an anti judge on the Supreme Court. I like him better than the other possibilities so far. Palin is ramping up her news coverage with her mystery bus tour. I don't know if that is smart or pathetic. I like her in some ways, but Just can't imagine "President Palin". Some of her choices of words still sound jarring to me; eg: "Yes, I have the fire in my belly..." when asked if she would consider running. We need a ticket that will unite the tea party voters with the republican voters or the election will be handed to Obama.

Re: Revised my opinion on the Prez
The sad fact is that a tad over 50% of the people in this country like the socialist product. They don't pay taxes and get free stuff from the "government".
The Dems learned long ago to create a dependent (on them) class or classes. Once that was done the class warfare (a BHO trademark) was a natural extension. The Dems know that the seasoned-citizens, who vote in greater relative numbers, are thier best class of voters. They've been conditioned to not save for retirement, live for today, spend, spend, spend . . . because we will have Social Security and Medicare waiting for you in your golden years. Of course there are exceptions to this, admittedly, general observation. But you are constantly reminded by the media that grandma will be left at the curb to die if this or that support is pulled away. You seldom, if ever, hear about the retiree that lived frugally and is actually enjoying their retirement free of worries over what the government will or will not give to them.
Anyone who cared to look at the numbers knew that Congress (both houses, both parties) has been making promises they knew they couldn't keep for many decades. Now everyone is shocked that most people will be asked to sacrifice in the years ahead. That is not what they've become conditioned into hearing from the government.
The refreshing message from the Tea Party and to those in the Republican party that lean in that direction is the renewed message of freedom. Freedom to succeed or fail. To live free but to be responsible for the results. The freedom to learn the lessons of failure and to apply those lessons to succeed. The freedom to live your life knowing that YOU made it possible, with all its beauty and all its warts. To look back at the fullness of your life with your head held high.
