Re: The time has come
From reading your posts, I don't think you have been all that liberal for some time now.............most of us start out pretty idealistic and liberal but become more conservative as we get older and have more life experiences............and many of us are different mixes..........I, for one, am pretty conservative when it comes to ecomomic issues, but more liberal on social issues..........and, anyway, labels tend to distort the true picture. As long as we ca keep an open mind and continue to grow and learn, we become better for it.
Re: The time has come
My ENTIRE family used to be Liberals, (thousands of us, dating back to ...)
(A Harvey Bass of Harvey Bass Appliance Store in Muleshoe Texas helped create Federal Election laws by painting a sign on an Empty Appliance box "Save our Country, vote Democrat" ... it's in the law books cited in lots of election law cases)
http://kevincraig.us/campaign.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (one of many)
My relatives started the populating of this continent, the revolution, started the Country, Started the TEA Party (not the recent resurrection of the Tea Party, but the first one ... ) I guess it was my fate to get involved in political stuff
Well, when they came out with the PRE-SWEETENED SUGAR FREE Kool-Aid
We quit drinking it too and switched.

(Ruth Alden (1634 - 1674) married John Bass 12 May 1657; had seven children; died 12 October 1674 at Braintree, Norfolk, Massachusetts.... )following year he married Hannah Bass (1662-1705), the daughter of John and Ruth Alden Bass. Joseph's third wife, after the death of Hannah, was Elizabeth Hobart.
Joseph and Hannah Bass Adams were the parents of John Adams, Sr. -- often called Deacon John, the father of President John Adams. Through Ruth Alden Bass, the Adams' were descended from Mayflower Pilgrims John and Priscilla Alden.

This better not be a boobie trap. Congrats. I guess it's safe to say it's Obama's fault.

Mad like crazy, angry, or mutual assured destruction?
Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
