Well, bummer. They were trying to come back, but maybe they figured they would rather win it back at home.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in North Arlington and remember as a young lad my Father taking my brother and me to see David Clyde pitch back in '73. Can't say how many hundreds of games I have been to since. Always pulled for The Rangers, through thick and thin. And boy was there a lot of thin!

I think they will "Cruz" through Saturday night's game and we will all live "Napoli ever after"! :thumbs2:

yah, I've had about enough of CJ.
Not that it was all on him, but he acts like he threw a perfect game. Tired of his big head.

I agree he should have been pulled earlier. The bad call on Beltre's foul ball could have changed the outcome if the umpire had made the call correctly. I can live with bad strike/ball calls, but it was pretty obvious to me right off the bat (no pun intended) that Beltre's reaction indicated he'd been hit by the ball.

If it had been Derek Jeter they'd have called it a foul ball.

Going into St.Louise and splitting the first 2 games is about as good as one could hope for. Mission accomplished. Close it out at home boys!

Indeed - good ol' World Series baseball... going down to the 9th. Reminds me of the Cardiac Cowboys of many years past.

Nolan said it'd take 6 - hopefully he's just one off.... :hurry: :clapping: :clapping: :hurry: :anamatedbanana
