Just a dumb electrician
Ben Franklin once stated that beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. I tend to agree with him.

I have applied several times to be a lottery recipient but I have never even gotten an interview. Until then, I'll keep running the emergency response team and security at a petrochemical plant.

I started my own business as a website designer later in life (at about 55/56 years old), and still at it. I used to hard code everything, including all my PHP and mySQL queries.....so I'm a little bit of a geek....but I can't really make any money that way as a one man shop, so I've been building everything using established CMS packages in the LAMP world—primarily Joomla!—and that's pretty much all I do anymore. I came out of 20 years (±) in the newspaper publishing and commercial printing world. Nowadays, I spend more time dreaming about retirement than I do about growing my business any larger than it is....which isn't very big. I prepared for all this by being a Biomedical Science (pre-vet) major at ATM. Problem is, I can't even get my only employee—my wife—to call me "Boss," so that ruins that joke.
