Big soccer fan here. Played club ball in junior high/hs, was hs team captain...only played recreationally in college. Even reffed once or twice (youth leagues) and give you major props for the patience to deal with the parents/coaches . Kids were always fun though.

Teams I'd like to see win: England, Germany

Who I think will win: Spain or Italy.

Good games today. Glad Germany won, though they were a little sloppy. Was shocked the Dutch lost. 28 shots on goal but couldn't find the back of the net.

The Dutch loss yesterday was a big surprise for me.

A couple of good games today. Ireland didn't but up to much of a fight and a great game between Spain and Portugal.

Predictions: The Italians will act like jerks, and the English will choke.

Italy had no problems with Germany. I am really looking forward to the Final. I believe that Spain will take it all.

Casillas may be the best keeper I've ever seen. Made some fantastic saves today.
