Willie's always a good choice...we used to call him Professor Nelson, because you could learn so much about life just listening to his music. I was fortunate to have been in San Marcos and Austin back when Wille, Waylon, Jerry Jeff, Janie Fricke, Marcia Ball, Townes Van Zandt, Rusty Wier, Gary P. Nunn, Alvin Crow and many more were playing in local honky tonks pretty much any night of the week...usually no cover...lol. A particular favorite of Willie's for me is "I'd have to be Crazy", cause it was written by a friend, Steve Fromholz.

I grew up in middle of nowhere Kansas. Jason Aldean's "Fly Over States" got me the first time I heard it. Particularly the line, "Little towns with funny names. Who'd want to live down there in the middle of nowhere?". Well, we don't get to pick where we're from but I am PROUD to be from a fly over state. Good God fearing, patriots that know what's important in life.
