Magpul’s Open Letter to CO Lawmakers – Pass Gun Control, We Leave & Take Our Jobs With Us
February 11 2013
Magpul, the maker of one of the most popular AR-15 magazines, the PMAG, along with other AR-15 accessories has posted an open letter to their customers and Colorado lawmakers.

Would it be wrong to root for CO passing a magazine limit ban?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

This bill would also prohibit manufacture of magazines greater than 10 rounds for commercial sale out of the state, and place restrictions on the manufacture of military and law enforcement magazines that would cripple production.

I'm not criticizing Magpul, but what choice do they have? If the legislation passes, they can't even sell "hi capacity" mags to non-CO residents. The bill would destroy their business. If they want to stay in business, they have to leave CO.
