Important details of my idea are yet to be completely figured out.

I still haven't figured out what to do to preserve high school football. Somebody will come along with something, though.

Oh, that's easy. Scholarships, just like college. Teams that are independent from the schools the kids attend could recruit the athletes and fund their expenses from the gate receipts. No more multimillion dollar palaces paid for with tax dollars.

neighborhood schools....I really think small, community, neighborhood schools would work.

sports could be done kind of like community softball and soccer is done, couldn't it?

Even better, the pros, and colleges, that make zillions off these athletes could own the leagues, and make even more zillions.
