Facebook...isn't that for teenaged girls?

From what I've been hearing, teenagers are starting to leave Facebook in favor of things like Instagram and other social networking sites. One of the cited reasons is that everybody seems to have a Facebook account these days, including grandma.

I have a FB account. I connect with family, friends, and folks I knew in the Air Force. I also post links to conservative articles as quite a number of my FB friends are conservatives or libertarians. And finally, I make my opinion known on a few pages that deal directly with political issues, pages run by conservatives or libertarians, usually things dealing with firearms. Today, I got blocked from posting anything, including "Liking" any posts, for 12 hours. I seem to have ticked off someone who had some strong support for Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter. I called him out on that, but I certainly did not use any foul language. He must have "reported" me anyway. So, just a heads up to those that do use FB, watch out for overly sensitive liberal-progressives. They really like to dish it out, but they are not able to take it.

I use facebook to keep up with friends and family. That is why I use it. But one does have to be very very careful what one posts and keep your security levels up.
