Water saving. We are on such tight water restriction that we barely flush anymore. That might be a good thing.

I've used traditional toilets that were 50-75-100 years old. This seems too complicated to last for decades.

What about when it gets stopped up? You won't know until the next time you go to pull it down.
The laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.

One of those things that looks cool. Seems too complicated to be practical.

My first thought was "Murphy bed for the bathroom." My second thought was it looks like the bowl outlet doesn't line up with the drain unless it's closed. If you thought clearing a clog was difficult now, just wait.
