Actually there are fences around there, just nobody makes it that close to see them because the outer perimeter has buried ground censors and alarms that can pick up anything heavier than a large rabbit. I was stationed there and at Nellis AFB back in '89-'90 and when the earthquake hit in San Francisco during the World Series, the poop hit the fan at Area 51 because the tremors went all the way to the Las Vegas area and beyond. :coolgleamA:

I would tell you more, but then I would have to kill you! "rlol"

Actually, they were secretly testing the B-2 Stealth Bomber there before it became public and many thought it was a UFO.

I would imagine about two years working on the roads and parks the first time they are caught would be somewhat of a deterrence. Five years the second time and ten years the third time.

We probably wouldn’t even need a wall or a fence, just signs marking the border.

Well I told you it is a wild idea. Probably the reason no one has considered it.
The heck of it is....that's kind of what many are doing. It's probably cheaper to pay them then what it'd cost to jail and guard them.

We could plant those ground sensors along the border. That'll even pick up tunnel digging.

Now to the more important stuff. Was that Bob Lazar guy there too who claimed to have worked on a UFO? :bigear:

Jose Caleron (as if it matters what the former Presidente says) has also engaged in negotiation with Trump by saying that Mexico won't pay a cent.

^^^^^^^^^
A reporter who was interviewing Trump, brought this up and asked Trump if he cared to comment.

Trump replied "the wall just got 10 feet taller". :thumbs2:

The Border CAN be secured smartly. A wall where it makes sense to do so, Virtual where it would be better, Fencing if that is appropriate. Tunnels and secured open areas can be established to allow wildlife to come and go, this is nothing new.

Heavily patrolled and monitored areas of the Rio Grande could still be accessed by folks wanting to use it for recreation (which are darn few these days because of the danger present). For just about any perceived problem there is a solution (to one degree or another).

But one thing is clear: The border MUST be secured and penalties be swift and severe. I'm sorry...but it's way past time to do this!

I wonder if the Donald's wall will look anything like this one.

I have always thought illegals once caught should be flown to the southern most entry point into Mexico and released there. If they want to illegally cross again make them cross all of Mexico first!

Back in 2005-2007 I was working on a project in the Mexican state of Tabasco which borders on Guatemala and Belize. I was trying to learn Spanish while there and was reading one of the major papers. I read one story where the Mexican government was cracking down on illegals crossing in from Guatemala and Honduras. The majority were on their way to the US but they were rounded up and returned, the government claiming they were breaking Mexican Immigration Laws. On the very next page of the paper was an editorial scathingly denigrating the USA and our immigration laws for not letting Mexicans freely cross the border. The hypocrisy in the words nauseated me.

I have very strong opinions of what must be done and cannot publish them in a post.

If anyone actually thinks Trump will build a wall or deport illegals they are delusional. Trump is the biggest rino in the race. Look at his past. Are you ignoring what he has done and said? Leopard. Spots. No change.

I agree with you, but man after Nevada it is looking scary. We'll see what March 1st does.

I'm more inclined to believe that Trump means what he says about immigration than I am to believe that he means what he says about pro-life and the right to bear arms. Those are what bother me more about him. Combined with my doubts that he will try to reduce government size and spending and shift power to the states.

I don't care how the border is ultimately made secure, but IF a wall is built, the part that is in Texas must be BIGGER than anyone else's!

After all.... we have an image to maintain.
