Just saw on TV the other day, Zimmerman's lawyer cracking a "knock, knock" joke IN COURT, "Knock, knock. Who's there? Zimmerman," I was so disgusted at this idiot lawyer I turned off the TV at this point. With a drooling mentally challenged lawyer like that, Zimmerman is definitely gonna fry.

It wasn't wise, and it didn't go over well, but he prepped it very carefully. If you see it in context, it's not quite as cringe-inducing.

I just watched the same lawyer cross examine the Neighborhood Watch liaison from the local PD and thought he did exceptionally well. . . the balance of her questioning definitely benefited Zimmerman.

Are they in some kind of recess? Last I saw they had approached the bench, and then next the camera is pointed at the capitol building (guessing).

Wow. Defense just got a witness for the state (a resident in the neighborhood) - who testified to something new today that she'd never said previously - to admit that she signed the change.org petition "Prosecute the Killer Who Killed Our Son" (paraphrase). Also painted a clear picture without saying it that her testimony has been groomed and coached over the last few months.

Been watching since day one. yeah, the defense opening was nit good at all, but so far in testimony, they have been scoring left and right on the prosecution. I've seen them flip two witnesses so far that greatly helped out the defense over te prosecution.

Agree. I saw the neighborhood watch focal from the PD. . . the defense definitely won that one, too.

Can anyone point me to an online video link of the trial? I've only been able to find a live blog.

This is an analysis of yesterday's trial proceedings by a famous lawyer who teaches at Cornell Law School. Suffice it to say that the state did not have a good day yesterday.

In the comments...
I think we can stop the trial now. Piers Morgan and his guests, Gloria Allred and Tom Mesereau, have convicted him.
So… Convicted by a jury of his Piers…???
