Trump Defends Bump Stock Ban, Says it Was the NRA’s Idea

However...
Still, former President Trump defended his record on guns.
“There’s been nobody that’s protected the Second Amendment,” he said. “There’s, you know, like I have I protected through thick and thin, not easy to do.”
Despite defending his unilateral ban on bump stocks, he said the real problem lies with mental health.
“It’s not the gun that pulls the trigger,” Trump said. “It’s the person that pulls the trigger. And we have to protect our Second Amendment.”
He argued that schools should arm teachers and harden their buildings to stop school shootings. He said other areas could be hardened too. And he argued people need guns to defend themselves.

Trump indicted on federal espionage charges.
I believe this is a first for a former President and a first for the front runner running for President.
Other countries can now hold their head up and say we are just like America.
If Trump or another Republican does not win in 2024, I believe this will mark the end of democracy in America.

Re: Today in Trump's 1st term as President
Woke up to a ABC "newscast" on my local CW oldies radio station. Entire thing was about Pres Trump being indicted. Not one word about Brandon's bribery evidence finally being viewed by congress. Also nothing said about comparison to Brandon's thousands of pages of classified documents hidden is multiple unsecured places. Notice that the indictment was timed to coincide and cover up Brandon's bribery shenanigans, The purpose of this indictment is to force states to remove Mr Trump from the ballot because he is under felony indictment.
We are going to have to put a stop to this one way or another (courts or election). After the orchestrated Jan 6 fiasco, Washington DC no longer fears the people. We allowed this to happen.

Talk Radio is saying this is the small charge, the big charge will be Jan 6, they expect him to be charged just like the Proud Boys or who ever they were, who were charged with sedition and an attempt to overthrow the government. It will be held in Washington DC where Trump was at the time. The documents charge will be held in Miami as Trump was in Mar a Lago.
They said all the grand jury proceedings were held in DC for the documents thing, but then moved to Miami for obvious reasons. The grand jury in Miami was simply read the DC proceedings including the DC grand jury approving the indictment. Apparently very unusual and shouldn't the first federal indictment of a former President, not follow the book and be very unusual.

Re: Today in Trump's 1st term as President
I do not believe it is the end of democracy (or of the republic) in our country. I do believe it is an explanation of why they are trying so hard to get "weapons of war" out of the people's hands. The tree of liberty is faltering and will need to be refreshed very soon. Unfortunately that requires the blood of both patriots and tyrants. I do believe that, unfortunately, more patriots will give their blood than the tyrants, because we tend to be more merciful than we should. but we do have patriots who are willing and just waiting for the right time to start.

I'm beginning to think that the puppet masters (not Biden, he's just a puppet) have come to the conclusion that civil war in America is necessary to achieve their goals. I think they believe that killing or imprisoning the half (at least) of the citizens who do not agree with or support their agenda is the path to follow.mayor wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2023 6:05 pmIf it's not already, it will soon be illegal to support President DJT.philip964 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 18, 2023 11:30 am https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-j ... ury-2023-7

Push, push, push the right's nose in their garbage is all they have been doing since Obama was elected. (Okay, maybe even longer than that).

I agree 100%. They are trying to start a REAl insurrection. The Jan 6 demonstration was orchestrated to make us afraid of them.

It wouldn't be an insurrection if it's purpose was to restore the Constitutional Republic.2farnorth wrote: ↑Thu Jul 20, 2023 6:09 amGrayling813 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 19, 2023 10:39 amI'm beginning to think that the puppet masters (not Biden, he's just a puppet) have come to the conclusion that civil war in America is necessary to achieve their goals.
