My guitar teacher recommended a new band... Clutch. I have been obsessing with one of their songs called "Electric Worry". I tend to be obsessive compulsive with song. I probably listen to this song 10 to 15 times a day. I have tabbed it out and I am now trying to pick the rhythm. It's an interesting song. Part 12 bar blues song from the 40s and part upbeat rock. The blues ask/answer bars are really interesting in open G tuning.

The Handsome Family, "Far From Any Road.


Lucinda Williams, "Are You Alright?"


The Melvins, "A History of Bad Men."


Musical Director as well a composer of original music for the series is T. Bone Burnett.

Back home from a 5 week paleo/genealogical research excursion. DVR at 93% level. Finally got to watch the last 4 episodes of "Justified" when my wife fell asleep at 2 a.m. Tuesday. I do enjoy gangsta-grass.
