1949, my younger brother Mike was born.
We celebrate his 60th tomorrow. (Never party on the day the Alamo fell)

Alamo Day didn't get much attention this year, did it?

I've heard nothing at all on the news about the Alamo.
I did however, have a good time at my brother Mike's 62nd birthday party yesterday. We celebrated a day early so that we could pay proper respects to the defenders of the Alamo today.

True.
I have been re-reading the Alamo portion of the book I made some posts from last year, but my schedule has been chaotic lately -- there wasn't time to devote to a "continuing series." Just this weekend my little VFD has had three fires and a first responder call. I thought about resurrecting last year's posts, but there didn't seem to be time for that either, at least on a regular basis.
OK, NEXT year I am going to go to an Alamo commemorative event

, instead of going to a brush fire

Tell your brother happy birthday,
I had a great birthday and church on my last birthday.
Someone asked which birthday? I replied I'm celebrating my 25th birthday this year. Everyone only has one birth date, their first one, but if so many people
celebrate Jesus' first birth date annually, I'll choose my 25th to celebrate this year. It's a good one, I celebrate the 25th one every year for the last ___ years.
