Any gun smiths in the Arlington/Mansfield area?

#1

Post by silver x0ne »

Looking for a professional to put a set of night sights on a Steyr m9a1. Prefer someone who won't scratch up the finish on my gun :) Looking for someone cheap as I can send off my slide for less than $20 and have them put on by the company selling them. I would rather not have to mail my slide off and would prefer to support someone local. If anyone knows someone please PM me!

PS. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, couldn't really pick another one that fit any better.

Thanks!

I think Arlington Arms, on Oram St(N.W. corner of Park Row & Collins) has a gunsmith...at least they used to.

I KNOW Winchester Gallery has a gunsmith, as it's right next door to The Shooting Gallery(gun range).

That's all I know of. Good luck!

I called the gunsmith at the Winchester Gallery regarding the same sight adjustment problem. He told me to bring it in, with a few targets that I've practiced with, and he'd adjust the rear sight to accomodate my style of shooting(I have a Ruger P95). He was going to charge me only $5.00 for the service. Not bad IMO.

He's a nice guy. Give him a call. :thumbs2:
