WELCOME HOME!!!

I agree with Sergeant Major (SGM).

A little advice for her...try not to do too much and just relax. I know I used to try and cram everyone and everything in when I would get to go home. But I finally just started relaxing and I enjoy my leave so much more now.

What a great 4th of July! Add my "thanks" to the others she has received here.

It must have something to do with all of the pages that have been torn from my life-calendar, but they all look so young. There's a joke that goes around the Internet periodically that talks about not sending our "kids" to war; send a bunch of old farts like me. I wish it were possible, but as Clint Smith says, "At my age, I couldn't carry the pack."

God bless her and your family Andy!

Please thank your step=daughter for her service from me too. :patriot:

I don't know about the dog being hiper but I do know I would have been fighting back (and lossing the fight) the tears of joy.

I hope you all have a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing Fourth and that you enjoy the well deserved time together. :tiphat:

I pray that all our troops are soon home with their families and loved ones and out of harms way having beaten the enemy. :patriot:

She even looks happy at 0100. She must be happy to be home.
