Please Be Careful with fireworks!

#1

Post by JustMe »

My niece's husband had an accident with fireworks on Saturday night. As of now, he lost 1/2 of his left index finger and the thumb is horribly mangled. He will be going to surgery tomorrow and they are going to try to harvest enough muscle & tendon material from his forearm to try and reconstruct his thumb and the heel of the hand.

PLEASE--I know this is said every year--but PLEASE be careful

Right on! Fireworks can also set forest and grass fires as well as blow your dinger off.

10 fingers, 10 toes. Same with hubby. We enjoyed the fireworks of those around us, and the town's show... although the town's show was missing some of the finale due to an unexpected fire in the wagon that consumed some or all of the finale... no, I didn't hear if anyone was hurt. At least ours was lasted longer than San Diego's.

Does a BLEVE count? :evil2:
We declare our right on this earth to be a man, to be a human being, to be respected as a human being, to be given the rights of a human being in this society, on this earth, in this day, which we intend to bring into existence by any means necessary.
