That was funny.

In the Spring, while out in the country on my bicycle, pounding out my milage, I often see red eared sliders and even snapping turtles in the middle of the road. Since, I see so much road kill, this is one opportunity I can save some poor, innocent creature.

I always stop, get off my bike, pick them up and put them down of the side they were heading for, well off the road.

Of course, since I've been a hunter and fisherman all my life, the plus Karma points are still heavily out weighed by the negative...

Do thousands of birds of various species, ducks, geese, doves, etc., fish, and a smaller number of large herbivores, omnivores and miscellaneous smaller critters, ok, squirrel, count against me in the Karma consideration - I bagged and ate them.

Yes, of course they do.

Thing is, I'm a lot more compassionate regarding wildlife, but haven't become a vegan.

And, I never will.

Meat tastes too good.

LOL!!!! I kind of hate to come clean but I'v watched the whole movie years ago . There is also one with a shark (several of them } so stupid that you cant stop watching , could just be me . I'm an old movie buff anyway , thanks for the post !
