I have that gun - bought it at Carters Country actually. It is a fantastic gun - never had a problem with it and shoots very well.Rugerboy50 wrote:Carters Country has a Beretta 3901 on sale for $599.00

I REALLY like the look of the Citori that was above the Beretta in the ad! That is a little out of my price range though.

Another that you might want to consider is a Remington 1100 Sporting 12 (semi-automatic 12 gauge).
While you don't have to have one, a shooting vest is nice for carrying your ammo, chokes, etc., as well as providing some additional padding for your shoulder. Like guns, there are a wide range of them available, and a wide range of prices, but you can get a pretty inexpensive one that will meet your needs.
Like others have said, get a gun that fits you and that you like (try some out), as personal choices vary.
Good luck with your purchase!

i like my benelli super sport but i do hit them equally with my remington 870 which costs quite a bit less.its more about you then the gun.
shooting doubles is much more difficult with a pump.
