I don't care for it either but that pic appears to be a 22lr.

Whoever at Mossberg designed that sick abomination needs to be placed in front of a firing squad equipped with that model, no blindfold and a given a cigarette.

Must everything be tacti-cool now? Dont get me wrong... I love me some AR action, but dressing a classic like that as tactical would be like putting John Wayne in tac-swat clothing. I dont dig it. Gimmie the classic wood stock anytime.

If you build it, he will come.

I guess the folks at Mossberg have been watching to many movies.
I have nothing against black guns, even own quite a few. However, when it comes to lever guns, I'll keep my walnut stock Model 94 over anything that remotely looks like the ugly thing depicted in the OPs post. Even though I also own a synthetic stock shotgun my wood stock shotguns are still my preference.

Odd as it might seem, I don't think the 464 is targeted at American markets. Seems like something that would sell in Australia though, where semi-autos are pretty much banned.Carry-a-Kimber wrote:Different strokes for different folks. Let the market decide.
To me, it seems as odd as installing a CD player on a child's tricycle.

That seems like a novelty piece. I don't see how functionality could possibly be improved with that set up. Maybe it would be a little lighter, but it is not my speed. I do love tactical rifles, but I also like ice cream and steak, just not together.

It's April Fools Day...right??? Wow...I really thought that someone had photoshopped that together but after looking at the website, guess it's real (ugly!).
A lever action is on my "someday to buy" list, but NOT that one!

Even in California you can buy a Mini-14. I saw that lever thing and had too look twice because I thought my eyes had gotten crossed and blurred two images together...and then, to my horror, I realized my eyes weren't crossed. It IS plumb ugly.OldCannon wrote:Odd as it might seem, I don't think the 464 is targeted at American markets. Laugh it up. That "chainsaw" shotgun sells. I'm amazed, but apparently several dealers have no trouble selling them.74novaman wrote:first their chainsaw shotgun, now this...
In case you think Mossberg has no sense whatsoever, I offer this statistic:
Over 100,000 Pontiac Aztec's were sold in the 7 or so years it was offered.
