Very nice. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to go with the MOE furniture on my AR build or just standard M4 stock/handguards/grip.

How do you like the MOE stuff?

Sooo., MAR wants me to bring my 9mm SBR to GNO on Wednesday to test some practice loads ;-) - this isn't going to cause undo strife is it?

I like it a lot. It's more ergonomic than I thought it might be. The real test will be when she shoots it. Next week, we're planning to install the upper from my RRA carbine to function check the new lower.

Here is the lower installed on the upper from my carbine:

It functioned flawlessly! The Timney trigger is the best AR trigger we have ever used!

Here are the results of the function check at 20 yards fired offhand by TLynn:

Here's a video of me shooting a 20 round magazine using this setup. If you listen close, you can clearly hear the trigger reset between shots!

Better be careful - people might be able to figure out your location because of that click Image
True that....we'll just call this a three gun carbine and not a battle carbine!

We took a little bit of a right turn on the build. TLynnHughes scored a two-day Tactical Pistol / Carbine course this month at Tiger Valley! With the accelerated timeline, we decided to go (temporarily) with a complete upper from Del-Ton. It's an A-3, 16" barrel, mid-length gas system with a Yankee Hill Machine flip-up front sight assembly / gas block combination.

After I have the M.O.E. furniture installed, I'll post a pic of the completed carbine.

Cheers!

Looks good but rear sight is on backwards. Anything gets on the MBUS and you deploy it, it will fling in your face.

Yep. Nice build BTW. That's essentially what I built for my wife, minus the Magpul AFG.
