Based in your build list id recommend you just buy a full rifle. If you were going with really high-end parts then I think it would make sense to assemble all parts. But for fairly standard rifles I think its pretty hard to beat the price of full rifles, rifle kits, and complete uppers right now. At 1k you'll be able to get a good, quality full rifle in which everything will match and everything will work from factory. For 1k you could buy the rifle below and still have money to add a rail, setup with optics, or burn thru some ammo.

Doesn't a MOE handguard require a handguard cap?
