Very unusual to find 30+ different cats as completely feral and sharing that tight of a space. They are probably getting some food and shelter very close. Call the animal control folks first please. You still might have to resort to trapping or even shooting - but don't post and make it sound like fun.
:iagree: Thank you, couzin! :clapping:

Furthermore, the allowed photo of the shirtless {male person} abusing the house cat was in extremely poor taste, to say the least, IMO.

...cats aren't stupid and they make their point!!! in the long ago, I had a GF who had a cat...all she had to do was tell her I was coming over, and the cat would walk straight to the front door and leave a package for me...
...you might try spraying the front door with Hai Karate...it keeps everything with a nose away...

I have found some stuff at Tractor Supply (Shotgun Repels-All) that I put on the perimeter of my yard - keeps the roaming dogs out and I have not had but one stray cat get inside the secure area. And then it was only because my indoor cat was taunting it from the window. When we lived in Longview out in the county I used the same stuff to keep armadillos from coming out of the woods to tear up my lawn and garden. A couple of applications will usually break the habit and the animals will move on to somebody elses place. Repels-All is nasty - it would knock a buzzard offa manure wagon...

A 22lr will work if you hit them in the lungs or head. Once when I lived in Bastrop County my landlord and I killed over 60 feral cats. Ruger 10/22s and Federal bulk pack HPs worked well.

There must be sufficient resources for the cats to survive. Either someone is feeding them or there is an ample supply of mice, rats or whatever. You can trap and remove all you want but unless you get rid of the food source, they (cats) will re-populate the area. Experts say the only solution is TNR (trap, neuter and release). Many don't understand the release part but that is the secret to controlling the population. An area will only support so many cats. Normally, this is such a small number of cats per square mile that one hardly notices (or sees) them. Like someone has already stated, I'm betting you have a hoarder or at the very least, someone who is providing plenty of food.
