I just assumed he was referring to what little kids call it.

Every child I know called it "Napoleon" ice cream when they were small. The list includes my two (now grown) kids and all 5 of my grandchildren.

They're all well beyond that stage now, but it was cute at the time.

I put my light in a different spot so the pressure switch would be on the grip.

awesome! How do you like your stock? Is that the blackhawk recoil reducing one? I've heard mixed reviews about the pros and cons. I've heard that it does help absorb the kick, saving your shoulder but that it can also cause your aim to drop or change, making it hard for follow-ups. Just curious what you think about it.

I got the extra rails in that I needed to install the AFG2 and the thumbstop so I spent the last 20 minutes or so putting those on. It really does help get a good purchase on the forend and makes racking it a breeze.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the function of the thumbstop?
Armed not dangerous but potentially lethal.

It's used as a hand positioning device. Helps guide your hand to the correct spot every time for better indexing, helps give better lateral control and aids in pumping the shotgun. You put the thumbstop in the webbing between your thumb and fingers and it helps hold the gun steady.

Oh, and I'm left-handed if the picture was confusing you on how it works.

So the Bushnell red dot I ordered is out of stock and they said 2 months. That was the one piece I was feeling iffy about since it was the most expensive so i just cancelled it and ordered a cheaper one. This is just a plain open red dot. Not sure what you'd call it compared to the "scope" kind... tubeless?
Anyway this one got good reviews from people using them on my exact shotty and it was MUCH cheaper. so I figured I'd give it a go.

The last few parts arrived today (sling, swivel, and red dot sight) so I do believe this project is officially complete!

The sight I got was the UAG reflex sight.
