Savage Fox BDL Model B 12ga SxS - Need help

I have a a buddy who has a Savage Fox BDL Model B 12ga SxS. The shotgun will fire the first round, but the breach will open once you shoot it and will not allow to shoot the second barrel. We have looked everywhere to find how to disassemble the shotgun (remove the barrel from the receiver), but can not find any information. If anyone could help that would be great! Thanks! :tiphat:
I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

I believe the Savage / Fox was a boxlock - so the internals are accessed by removing the buttstock first. I would not be shooting this one until you fix it. Maybe check with the Savage / Fox section of the Shotgun World forum. Parts are available for these 1960s shotguns BTW.

How loose is it, some of those guns were shot a lot with high brass shells and got loose in the hinge.
The actions were made of cast iron and the hole where the pivot pin goes through would get elongated, and also the lumps on the barrel would get worn. These were cheap guns and not worth spending a lot of money on.
