I took my Cx4 in 9mm to American Shooting Center this weekend with my girlfriend and had a blast. We were at the 25yd range with open sights and we were having tons of fun. I guess I will keep it after all...I just need too add to my collection instead of trading up.

Love my Cx4 in .40 cal. I have a streamlight TLR-1 on it, fake muzzle brake ($40 costume accessory but oh so worth it) and a red dot scope. Never had a misfire, either. Cool factor and fun factor is always a 10.

Definitely worth it, gun looks silly with that skinny little barrel sticking out. Debated paying tax stamp to cut it off.

I bought a (slightly) used CX4 Storm 9mm a few weeks ago myself. The carbine, in the original hard case, three ....uuuuhhhh....9-1/2 round mags, four ...uuhhh... more 9-1/2 round mags, a soft "tactical" case, and a bit of ammo for $575 otd. I have been lusting after one of these things for three years, and finally couldn't resist a real deal. A couple of weeks ago I bought a (slightly) used ATN Ultra Sight from a buddy, took it off his pistol and mounted ojn the CX4, and shot 3 inch groups off hand at 50 yards within 5 minutes. Wow, I am one happy CX4 owner! I had been leaning more towards the .40 cal but my dealer buddy was asking "a bit" more for the nib 40.

They are amazingly simple to field strip and clean. The only "issue" I have read about is the possibility of the buffer failing, but that could be just the concentration of few incidences on the internet that would appear to be a major concern. I'll take my chances as the cure is only a few bucks for replacement parts that are 100% user friendly.

You got a steal of a deal. I would not let mine go for anywhere near that. Pat yourself on the back.
