Dicion wins the thread.
Regardless, a good deal. I know some guys for whom this would be right up their alley.

What does "Nitrited" mean? Is that as good as a chrome barrel?

If I'm not mistaken, "nitrited" means Parkerized.
ETA: Maybe not. It looks like its an ammonia-based surface hardening process. Parkerizing is a phosphating process.

I was more concerned with the bore and if nitrated applied to the bore. It doesn't matter a whit what the outside of the rifle looks like if the bore is going to rust up or be damaged my minor neglect. I've never heard of the term and I guess I'm just too lazy right now to look it up. :)

A few weeks ago someone posted info on NIB S&W and Bushmaster AR rifles for $800. I think they came with 1 or 2 mags and a cheap scope but I can't find the post.

Could it have been

Will give a thumbs up to these from the last time they offered them. If they are the same quality as before the price is excellent.

Looks like a good deal... Especially for a Home defense/shooter.
Thanks for posting... Now to find a local FFL to ship to

I am totally in the dark when it comes to AR's. But I know I want one more than ever especially if the prices continue to drop
Does anyone have a CMMG rifle specifically the M4A3 as advertised? My cousin (ex-military) said to go with a COLT AR and not skimp on quality. Any thoughts???
