Can you believe Yahoo actually ran a news article about a chl holder using his
weapon in self defense... in ILLINOIS of all places.
I find it ironic that most of the people who say we should outlaw guns to make gun crime go down...
are the same people who say we should legalize drugs to make drug crime go down.

The woman with him was wounded and will, hopefully be okay. Also, it would be nice if the effect of this shooting will put out the notice to thugs that the people they typically prey on are not willing to put up with their behavior an more and Chicago's crime rate will decline.

The article was sourced from the Daily Caller, an organization that actually tries to report what used to be considered news. I'm sure whoever is responsible for the screw-up at Yahoo will be dealt with in the coming days.

Sad, but probably true!

The only reason they reported it, and they went to a LOT of effort to repeatedly reinforce this, was that the CHL-er was a military member.

Forget about anything that might sound like "armed citizen successfully defends himself".

"Military member" defends himself sounds a lot less scary and provides less fodder for the Right.
