Colorado reciprocity
I was told at the gun show at GRB this past weekend that Colorado no longer recognizes Texas CHL. Is this correct information? Does anyone have explanation of why this might be true?

Whoever told you that was incorrect. See http://cbi.state.co.us/ccw/reciprocity.asprgoldy wrote:I was told at the gun show at GRB this past weekend that Colorado no longer recognizes Texas CHL. Is this correct information? Does anyone have explanation of why this might be true?
The only exception is they will not honor non-resident permits.

Re: Colorado reciprocity
As Keith pointed out, Colorado still recognizes a Texas CHL, so long as you are a Texas resident. At first, Colorado quit allowing Colorado residents to carry on another state's license. Then Colorado quit recognizing any non-resident licenses.
Note also that the website Keith provided expressly states:

Updates are made only when there is a change to Colorado's permit reciprocity with other states. Regardless of the date of the last update, this information is current.

Re: Colorado reciprocity
This is good to know. Mrs Oldgringo and I summer in the San Juans and I planned to visit the Sheriff and discuss our CHL's (if Mrs. Oldgringo ever gets hers approved) as well as current ATV restrictions/regulations.
