Carrying in Arkansas - 30.06 Equivalent?

Hey guys,
I've checked many of the online resources and they all pretty much say carry in Arkansas can be prohibited in establishments at the owners/managers discretion. I was curious if it was anything like Texas though where for the sign to be legal it must be displayed in an exact way. In my CHL class we were taught that in Texas, if it is not posted with the proper 30.06 sign we can ignore it. From what I've read, it sounds like all Arkansas establishments need is a sight that says no guns with an X through it or something. Can anyone clarify?
Much appreciated,

Looks like I stumbled across a link I somehow hadn't seen before:
http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/arkansas.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Looks like about 1/3 of the way down it states the sign must read "Carrying a handgun is prohibited"
Guess I answered my own question..sorry for the waste of bandwidth

I'm actually in the same boat as you are. That link you posted is the same one I found and printed out to carry with me on my trip. All in all it sounds like everything is the same as Texas except for the sign posting and I also read in there that "any licensee entering a private home shall notify the occupants that he is carrying a concealed handgun." Luckily that should not happen for me on my trip, but just in case you missed that sentence. Have a safe trip!

Fortunately for me since I live here for school is the only home I really enter is either mine or my buddy's house, whose roommate also holds a Texas CHL

I travel to AR frequently, so I called the State Police last year to discuss their laws. The gal on the phone was friendly, but not very helpful - she simply said "The laws are basically the same as in TX." Mostly that's true. I specifically asked about signage, and she said there's no 30.06 equivalent. A picture is not sufficient notice - it must have the language "Carrying a handgun is prohibited". I also asked about the requirement to notify an officer, and she said there is none.
There are three other major differences based on my own research and reading of the statues. As previously stated, a CHL'er must notify a homeowner if he intends to carry into a private residence. Also, carry is prohibited in any place of worship. Finally, Arkansas is a duty-to-retreat state. Deadly force is authorized in most of the same situations as in Texas, except that you may only use deadly force if you cannot flee with a reasonable expectation of safety.
