Hi all, I have a multi state trip coming up to Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming and Colorado. I've been so busy as of late I haven't had a chance to do my research. Does anyone have a run down of the differences in these states versus Texas? Our trip will include some National Monuments and Parks too. Thanks in advance!

A Texas license is recognized in all those states. Carry in National Parks is OK (it follows the law of the state the park is in) as long as you don't enter any buildings. http://www.handgunlaw.us" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; is a good resource for further research.

The below link is worthy of being bookmarked on your computer. They stay as up to date as possible and are a very good reference

There are also several phone apps that cover state laws that are a great reference tool when traveling.

That website seems to be what I was looking for. A quick rundown of what I need to know, where not to carry etc. The only thing it doesn't seem to have, and maybe that's because it isn't an issue in the states I've check yet, is if there are magazine limitations. I'm wondering if I just take my M&P Shield or if I can carry my full-size 15+1.

Colorado has a magazine capacity limitation. 15 rounds.
Exception: You owned the >15 round magazine on/before the effective date of the legislation.
