that there are two layers of this. The first is the executive order suspending open carry under emergency powers. It has a temporary lifespan.

The second is calling for a repeal of Constitutional Carry.

The good mayor is correction in that Jackson is a hotspot for crime

But you just knew when he used the "people need to feel safe" ploy that he is an opportunist trying to turn the pandemic into a political gun control weapon.
