Seventy-eight students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni took the class. About a dozen students assisted with the class.

Yep.
In fact, a couple people in that group photo look familiar.

Good article here too.

I just used it for a guy worried about "college aged kids" (I'm 55, well, closer to 56) and more faculty will probably be armed than Students

Ann Belle isn’t your stereotypical concealed handgun carrier.

But the 72-year-old Texas Tech human resources employee easily qualified in the shooting portion of her concealed handgun class on a cold morning last month.

mgood did you ever ride, or remember hearing about the "joke bus"? Where the driver always told jokes? It was in the paper once. That's my uncle. He did the Tech route for Citibus until he retired about 2 years ago.

Hmmmm, sounds vaguely familiar. Maybe I heard of it, but never experienced it.
I rarely rode the bus unless it was freezing cold. I always figured that as many stops as they made, I could walk from one side of the campus to the other nearly as fast as you could get there on a bus.
