Request to CHL in class
Have any CHL holders going to college written a formal request to administration requesting to be exempted and allowed to carry in class? List for reasons, to deter rape, robbery, because of late nights and handicaps. Just wondering. If the administration started receiving a bunch of requests it might change something.

Re: Request to CHL in class
I am not a student, however I have formally requested authorization from my President. My reason was to be able to defend my life inside my office just as I can outside it. The President thanked me for my thoughts and said he would take it under consideration. I also asked Bill Holda to consider allowing carry at Kilgore College.

Re: Request to CHL in class
I've sent a written request to both the chief of police and the president of the university. Along with my request, I offered to meet with them face to face if that would help them get to know me. Both requests were ignored entirely.MeMelYup wrote:Have any CHL holders going to college written a formal request to administration requesting to be exempted and allowed to carry in class? Re: Request to CHL in class
Probably your requests are ignored due to a "timing issue"
Amanda Collins was granted permission AFTER she got raped .... not before.

That's just not right.
