I agree with the idea that the act should be named after a victim of a serious campus crime like a shooting, murder, or rape. It would be an even better political move to name it after such a victim if the victim had a CHL (like Amanda Collins) but was unarmed due to the law. The sad truth of the matter is we will get plenty of victims to name it after in the next 2 years, not because it can happen but because it happens all the time.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?
