Has Arizona passed campus carry?
Will Texas, et al, follow suit?
Campus Carry Allowed in Arizona?

Re: Campus Carry Allowed in Arizona?
Basically, Arizona just came up to where Texas currently is. Arizona may be about to realize an increase in campus car burglaries and parking lot assaults/rapes/carjacking-kidnappings like Texas has had and needs to correct. Crippled laws/bills have much less value and more unforeseen (actually foreseeable if they'd look at Texas and other States) circumstances when a gun is stolen on campus from a car licensees are forced to use for storage.

Arizona House OKs bill allowing guns on campus

The Arizona Republic
The Arizona House gave final approval to a measure that will allow guns on college campuses, although it doesn't go so far as to allow them inside buildings or classrooms.

The original version would have allowed guns everywhere on college campuses, including in classrooms. Bill sponsor Sen. Ron Gould, R-Lake Havasu City, said he narrowed the scope to assure the bill's passage.
SB 1467 now goes to Gov. Jan Brewer, who has five days to sign it, veto it or do nothing and allow it to become law.

Link sent to Senators Wentworth and Carona. Hopefully this will be the momentum we need to carry the day.

I am not sure this is a good idea to get this info to any of the Senators. They don't allow in-building carry. Whitworth and Carona should be OK, but others who are legitimately on the fence might look at this as a compromise and attempt to put it in as an amendment.baldeagle wrote:Link sent to Senators Wentworth and Carona. Amanda Collins Self Protection Act (Nevada) would be better
The school told her go ahead and carry after she was raped, but not to tell anyone, but it all came out after the guy raped and murdered another girl on campus.

legal to walk around outside ... not in buildings, forced car storage. Defenseless victim parking lots between buildings and cars, easy car burglaries attracting criminals to the "gun farm" to harvest crops..

Quoting the article:
We already have in Texas what Arizona just passed for itself, at least in regard to concealed carry. You are free to carry your concealed weapon on the campus streets and roadways. Alerting your representatives that Arizona's law is acceptable to you means you're content with the status quo in Texas, and you want him or her to support the status quo.The Republican-led House voted 33 to 24 to allow firearms to be carried in the open or concealed in public rights of way, such as campus streets and roadways.
{snip}
If the measure is enacted, Arizona would join Utah as the only states to specifically allow such gun rights. Utah goes one step further, allowing firearms inside campus buildings.
