This time in "live free or die" New Hampshire. Running 262:152 at this time. Note the completely unbiased choices.

This poll is also in New Hampshire, which is an analogous open carry state. There is a lot of hunting and rural farm area in NH, so the folks are probably more open to accepting firearms and their use than a lot of other states.

I think you are generally correct about New Hampshire (I have never been there).

However, they have a looming problem with former residents of Massachusetts who are turning southeastern New Hampshire into a suburb of Boston, and bringing their big-city mindsets with them. Some are also bringing big-city violent crime, and you know where that tends to lead.
