Typical judgmental CNN. This guy uses plain language that fits the demographic of his town, and she can't handle it. :hurry:

Right. Unfortunately a search string that has too few characters will not yield any results. I believe you would need at least 4 characters for the search engine to be effective. I tried to look up "DWI" in the past and it came up empty, although there has been exhaustive discussion about it on the forum.

I thought he did a pretty good job.
But she's never going to "get it".

well, it's NOT just the Communist News Network.... uuuhhh...CNN that presents the "facts" in such a derogatory manner. One of the FOX News "news babes" did a hachet job on the story as well last night... and used what looked like footage from CNN interview. She segued the story with the "buy a car, get a machinegun" line. Then in the 30 second "report" mentioned that these rifles are the same ones the "military" uses on the battlefield. I have been a huge fan of FOX News for many years, but I am beginning to get disgusted with over half of their talking heads now (particularly the romper room type crew on the early morning show, Gretta, Geraldo, etc.)

Too be fair and balanced means all sides are shown. When Fox gets painted as extreme right wing, it has to make you wonder when so many folks believe that CNN is moderate. Its all about perspective.

I have no problem with fair and balanced, but there is nothing either fair or balanced about interjecting the word "machinegun" into the story about Max Motors "incentive plan". I had always thought FOX News to be at least a small step above that kind of stupidity. And as for fair and balanced when it comes to Gretta and Geraldo, I don't see where following the hollywood type sensationalized stories adnaseum as they do is even newsworthy. Government, from city all the way through federal (and the UN) is constantly trampling our freedoms, we are now three generations into debt with countries we have considered "unfriendly" for the last 60 years, and no less than 2 hours of primetime evening news time is spent on stories like the Aruba case, the former Playboy Bunny, Michael Jackson. Why don't they leave that kind of "journalism" to Entertainment Tonight or the National Enquirer. I would much rather they would put Geraldo, or even Gretta on at 4:00 pm and give Beck their place in primetime.

But, back to the "guns with cars" story, I see no value in a so called reporter (ette) interjecting his/her opinion when it is based on ignorance.

I love how he just shoved it back down her throat and she did not even notice he did it.

I couldn't help but laughing when I watched this. I loved how he never wavered under her stupid questioning, but politely and calmly responded to her, with thoughtful responses.

'Why, do you have a problem with God?'

and

'well, they didn't have guns back then, but He might have carried a sword, but He was so powerful He didn't need it.'
