Don't want to hijack but what was the crowd like? Been stuck in the office all day and can't find any local news online with respect to voter turn-out.

BOT, My wife and I early voted Sunday the 24th, in and out in five minutes
We had one or two people ahead of us in the line to check in and sign the roll book, so it only took about 5 minutes or less to get a ballot and get to the booth. That said, all booths were in use, and there was a steady stream of voters coming and going; so I'd say the turnout was pretty good, all things considered.

But I do think that early voting has significantly reduced the crowd on election day.

The wife and I voted around 8AM. The poll worker who handles our part of the alphabet told the same joke he told us the last time we voted. So we told him to get new material before the next election.

Another vote here.
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions, that I wish it to be always kept alive. It will often be exercised when wrong, but better so than not to be exercised at all. I like a little rebellion now and then. It is like a storm in the atmosphere. -Thomas Jefferson
