One of our congressmen plans to draft legislation to allow congressmen to carry in Washington DC.

Why should they have any more rights than ordinary citizens? How many tourists or businessmen get mugged or killed when visiting Washington? What we need is national reciprocity for CHLs.

I just received a call from Rep. Gohmert's office in DC. The lady I spoke with told me that the law would recognize reciprocity with other states to allow citizens to conceal carry in DC and only allow lawmakers to get DC CHLs. She sounded rushed, and I wasn't on my game at the time she called, so I didn't ask any questions.
