At what point does Obamas actions (no more work for welfare, failure to deport illegals, just looking at this weeks' news) become "treason"? Or at minimum, failure to uphold his oath...??

Quite a while ago, in my opinion. If I thought there was really a way to win, I might try taking him to court over it.RoyGBiv wrote:At what point does Obamas actions (no more work for welfare, failure to deport illegals, just looking at this weeks' news) become "treason"? I am not a lawyer, nor have I played one on TV, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, nor should anything I say be taken as legal advice. If it is important that any information be accurate, do not use me as the only source.

So of us believe that we had a treasonous occupier of the White House almost hundred years ago. I'm not sure that it didn't even start before then.Dave2 wrote:Quite a while ago, in my opinion. Never before, however, does there seem to be such a blatant contempt for the Constitution. Then again, I don't think that we've ever had a blatant Narcissist either. If others were a bad, they did a better job of keeping it under wraps.

Every time I hear that, I think of Andrew Jackson and FDR. Both displayed some pretty open contempt for how things worked, especially when it came to the relationship between SCOTUS and the rest of govt.chasfm11 wrote:

But I agree that Obama is up there on the list of Presidents who violated their oath of office.
