As far as I'm concerned, when BO and his wife said that they had been to several flag burnings, that pretty much did it for me. Everything that group has tried to do since they've been in DC, has pushed against the Constitution that we believe in. Most of us took the oath at one time or another and they all took it too. I believe we could nail them all for perjury over that one thing. Upholding or protecting and defending the Constitution of the United States of America. This is the first time in my life that I've ever felt this bad about our leaders.

I love how they say "common sense improvements - like reinstating the assault weapons ban."

They state it like it is a fact that the "assault weapon" ban is common sense. In my opinion, it is irrational and lacks any real relationship to crime prevention - hardly "common sense."

I think a more accurate statement of common sense would be one along the lines of, "common sense improvements, such as encouraging law-abiding citizens to be armed at all times..."

Of course, there are points in the republican platform that I am completely opposed to as well... but that's a whole different kettle of fish.

Any time a politician prefaces an idea with the words "common sense", you can rest assured it's anything but.

They have apparently not read the Constitution or otherwise choose to ignore the words "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".

You never want to wait in an election year - the animals have been sniffing the wind already for the past few months and prices are only going up.
Prices have been high and remained high! :iagree:

Remember the days of $150 SKS or $350-400 AK's? $500 AR's ? Cheap and plentiful ammo?
Oh yes, I remember 2007 and prior.

You need to be reindoctrinated, comrade.

Anygunanywhere

its called "re- education" not indoctrination and Komrade is spelled with a K just like Kalifornia, you seem to need re education, hmm maybe a re education center in Massachewsits would be good, possibly Illinois, hmmm :coolgleamA:

SO, if everyone is rushing out to buy ARs and AKs, maybe that will help lower the price of used revolvers? I sure would love to pick up a nice Smith and Wesson in .357 Magnum, but those are usually just out of my price range. I'm just trying to find a silver lining in the cloud...

They have read it! They ignore it because it gets in the way of disarming us so that we can be turned into serfs and slaves to be exploited even more for their benefit. The greatest mistake of the Founding Fathers was in not writing Term Limits into the Constitution.
