Isn't he being challenged this time for Lt. Gov. by Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson (who filed the original CHL legislation while state senator from Pasadena)?

Wondering if this is Dewhurst's "move to the right" that failed to do adequately against Ted Cruz in US Senate primary?

Wow... an evil .22 semi-auto in his graphics too. What, looked like a Model 60. I'm impressed with his staunch determination.

edit to add: I do accept his "help" though, as long as it's sincere.

Exactly what I was thinking. It's like he's hired Ted Cruz' speechwriter (aka soundbite writer)

Has anyone validated the website address as being his? You know, people can fake that stuff. The petition may not be what you think. I've never visited his personal site so maybe it's valid.

TEXAS -whether Texans are ready for it or not - is fixin' to become the depository for all of the hopes and dreams of patriots throughout the Republic.

If some form of "liberalized handgun carry" law comes out of this legislative session, liberty loving folks from Kalifornia to New York will be soon scribbling
" Gone to Texas " on the sides of their "bug-out" trailers and be heading this way. Count on it.

I've got this intuitive "feeling" that TEXAS is going to turn out to be the great nemesis of those who don't hold our Constitutional Republic in much regard.
